The SLIIT School of Architecture hosted the second edition of its Design Dialogue – Watercolor Workshop on October 23, 2024, at the SLIIT Malabe Campus. This engaging event, designed for students preparing for their GCE A/L and O/L examinations, provided an invaluable opportunity to explore the art of watercolor painting.
Renowned Sri Lankan watercolor artist and lecturer, Sanjeewee Senevirathna, participated as the resource person, sharing his expertise and international experiences with the budding artists. Through hands-on demonstrations and personalized guidance, he taught students the techniques of capturing architectural and interior views with watercolors, inspiring creativity and precision in their work.
Curated by Archt. Janitha Ratnayake, Senior Lecturer and Year One Coordinator of the Interior Design Program, this workshop was a remarkable platform for young students to gain exposure to professional artistry and expand their artistic horizons.
The event was a resounding success, leaving participants inspired and better equipped to pursue their creative passions with confidence and skill.
